HerShield is the first Female Welfare Committee at Tolani Commerce College, Adipur — founded by students and faculty who believe every woman on campus deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard.
We address concerns ranging from harassment and privacy violations to unsafe spaces and catcalling — anything that threatens your right to learn in peace. Every complaint is treated with urgency, empathy, and confidentiality.
Our committee operates under the mandate of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is fully aligned with the POSH Act 2013 and all applicable laws protecting women in educational institutions.

Unauthorized recording, photographing, or filming without consent — we take immediate action on every such report, escalating to college disciplinary authorities.
Any verbal, physical, or gestural harassment on campus is a violation. Report it here and we will investigate, document, and resolve it systematically.
Persistent unwanted attention, following, or intimidating behavior is unacceptable. Our committee escalates serious cases to campus security and legal authorities.
Poorly lit areas, unsecured zones, or locations that feel unsafe — we document and advocate for physical campus improvements with administration.
Conflicts between students, hostile group dynamics, or social exclusion — we facilitate fair, structured mediation with trained committee members.
Seminars, workshops, and campus drives that educate all students on consent, digital safety, and women's legal rights — building a safer culture from the ground up.
